Quote Hi again -

It looks like you haven't installed some of the Contents packs. They contain all the templates for titles, particles, overlays, menus etc.

If you put a title template in the timeline & (a) double click it or (b) click Designer, you'll be in Title Designer. That's where you modify it to be what you want.

In the meantime, here are three basic Scroll Up Credit templates. The third one is that clover one without the clover background.

You can download & install them. You'll find the in the Title Room under Downloaded.

After you sort that out, you really should finish installing the Contents Packs.

Hi again, Tony --

Ok, I'm in Title Designer. I've chosen "Scroll Up" as my STARTING EFFECT.
That's good.
But all the credits are like Fast Motion!
People won't be able to read them - they're moving so FAST!

How do I slow them down?
I'm searching around, but don't find that answer.
JUST FOUND THIS ANSWER!!
When the credits are highlighted in the movie, the word DURATION
is present just above the timeline!! Yay!!!

I also don't know what content packs are.
Thanks!

Quote Hi Sunshower -

You could either use one of the title templates under the Credits/Scroll tab, which already have the motion applied...

or, with any template in Title Designer, go to the Motion tab and choose Scroll Up/Down/Left/Right for both your starting and ending effect.

Cheers - Tony

Thanks for your prompt response, Tony.

However, as I mentioned, the only template at the Credits/Scroll tab - is that lime green background with floating clovers!

If I could figure out how to make that background BLACK and add my CREDITS - so they'd scroll, as the example shows,
I'd be in good shape.

But none of that seems to work for me.

And, I don't understand what you mean Title Designer. I don't see that.
I DID see something about Motion -- and really messed things up there - with my credits off to the right now. Yuk!
I understand what you mean by starting and ending effect, as I've used that function with my CAPTIONS.

Can you send some screenshots? (I don't see a way to do so here.)
Is it ok to give you my email??

Thanks!

Quote Is there a way I can create a title with text only, (with my film as the backround) from a templet, such as the scroll etc. Thanks. This is other than the subtitle room.
In the Title Room ( F7 ), select All Content, then Default Title.

Default has a transparent background, put the Title in a higher number track or use the Title Track. Default is good for one or two lines.

There are also scrolling Titles in the Title Room ( F7 ). Select Credits/Scroll on the left pane.

Hello --- I'm very new to PD 16 -- or any movie making program!
I want scrolling credits at the end of my movie.
All I see in the Title Room is this LIME GREEN background with floating shamrocks!
I want black!
I've created a black background, placed my credits on it --
but there is NO MOTION!!

How do I get the words to scroll!

Please help! My deadline is fast approaching!

Thanks!
