Did you run the 3D and blu ray advisor? You can find it from the Cyberlink Home Page under the support tab. Run that and it is supposed to tell you if your set up meets the requirements. Post that if you are not sure.
Also, to help, please post the text file from Windows dxdiag.exe evaluation of your computer. That may show somethign also. Aboout the fourth one down on this page.
Yes, I ran the advisor software as mentioned in the original post. All tests passed. I'll have to get back to you on the dxdiag.exe file later today.
Attached the DxDiag file as requested. I've also sent this file to Tech Support. But...
Just to be clear, I have been trying to view the movie on my laptop's monitor. It dawned on me to check the connection between the laptop and TV via an hdmi cable. Sure enough, I could view the movie on the TV. So, I disconnected the hdmi cable and started the movie again and it runs fine now on my laptop's screen without the hdmi connection. I am going to try a few more scenarios and different movies to see if I am in the clear. I'll report back.

Got everything installed, drive, this software and I get an Error code = 0107 basically saying some part or all of my hardware does not support HDCP. Hard to believe since this is a brand new laptop. All tests run by the BD Advisor Pass.
Would somebody from Cyberlink please address this?
]Hi Royf.
This is a USERS group forum and not Cyberlink Tech Support. If you want someone from Cyberlink to address the issue, then submit a help request to them.
In the meantime, please attach the text file from the Cyberlink3D and blu ray advisor.
Have you installed the latest build of Power DVD 16? What level of PowerDVD 16 do you have? Use this (link) to see if your version supports what you want to do.
Hello stevek. I appreciate your response. I understand that it is a user group but many companies have company reps monitor their forums. Looks like this is not the case with this company.
I bought DVD16 Ultra. Build DVD161012-01 But I downloaded the trial version of Media Suite 14 and got the same error message.
I submitted an email to tech support & to customer service and have had no response other than an auto-reply.
I do not know what you mean by "attach the text file".
