I didn't apply anything. All I did was choose File | Import to bring the .TS file in. All the thumbnails are of the same image and same metadata.
I ran another test. I converted the .TS to MP4 via Handbrake. I then imported the MP4. Only one thumbnail appeared.
This issue seems to be specific to converting .TS files generated by Elgato.

All that seems to do is define a clipping region and area of pixels that are to be affected. Its not what I'm expecting.
Lets take an example.
- Take a 300x300 PNG file and insert it
- Select it
- In the preview player, notice that it fits to scale
- Resize it with the sizing rectangle to be smaller and center it (a)
- Choose Magic Wand
- Choose Magic Motion
- Choose Zoom In
- Choose Motion Designer
- Resize boundary rectangle to be the entire frame (b)
(a) The purpose is to resize the object within its viewport to be its starting size
(b) The purpose is to define the clipping rectangle it is to take up for the effect
Now play in the preview window.
The image zoomed in and is being clipped by its own boundary rectangle. Why is it doing this? Why can't I have it zoom to fill its parent container?
Using the Motion Designer to create another clipping rectangle had no effect. It just chooses the starting point of the pixels encapsulated to be zoomed in.
The effect I'm trying to go for is to take a logo and have it expand outwards to fill the screen.
Also, to do it fast, not within the constraints of the template. Setting the time duration doesn't have any effect on how fast the effect accelerates. Its like I cannot monkey with the timing of the motion style too?

I went through all 12 instances and all properties for filename, Video, and Audio are the same

I import a .TS file from Elgato HD60 into PowerDirector 15.
After importing, I am getting duplicate thumbnails shown in the media room panel.
Why am I getting 12 of these in duplication?

I have a 300x300 transparent PNG file that I insert. I click on the magic wand and then choose Magic Motion.
Then, choose an effect, like Horizontal left.
What happens next is that in the Preview player, the image gets zoomed in and does not retain its original shape.
For what reason why is it doing this?
How can I avoid having this happen?
