Hi,
Does this happen with all .mp3 clips or just with one?
Normally it would be good to provide either the analysis of the audioclip or the clip itself for others totest, but there aren't so many Mac users on the forum, so testing and troubleshooting may be more difficult.
Have you raised a ticket with CS? If not, perhaps that might be the quickest way to get some suggestions?
Cheers

Thank you for the reply. It happens with all mp3 songs or clips. It doesn't matter. They will play if I start watching from the beginning but as soon as I slip ahead a few minutes in they go silent. It I add a new one it will play but if I slice it or cross face it with the previous they won't play. But if I go to the beginning of the song and hit play I can get it to play. If I am trying to hear the end of the song so I can see how it's going to sound with the video footage I can't hear anything unless I listen to the whole song. It's so frustrating. I am a new Mac user. I have been using PD for years with windows.
No I have not started a ticket yet. I will have to do that. It's such a strange issue.
Thanks

Hi everyone!
Hope someone has had the same problem. If I add a mp3 clip and edit it for example clipping a portion of the audio file to use by itself it will not play sound. In fact, I am have a real struggle getting the background music to play consistently when bouncing around my project. If I play from the beginning it will play all the added audio but if I skip ahead it will not make a sound. Its the strangest thing.
I have checked all mute settings etc and nothing is muted. As I said it plays and the people speaking in my videos are heard. Just not the added background music. Its like it can't keep up or its not buffered or something which makes no sense.

Thanks in advance!
