Quote Hi All

So i recorded a subject for about a minute with a green screen. When I put the green screen footage on the timeline track 2, I put all the pics on track 1 and set the chroma key to green and off I go. I lined up all the backfground pics to change when he says certain key words blah blah works fine.

HEre is my problem, along the top of the screen the background pics have blur/noise. They aren't like that in the actual picture but when the picture is used for a green screen background it gets blurry and noisy. Is that because I didnt light up my green screen bright enough?

Thanks!

Paul

Ok finally got time to try it out, PERFECT!!!! This opens up a lot more things for me now that I know how to use those effects. thanks!!!!
ok ill give that a try later, thanks all for all your help so far. Thanks for being nice to a total rookie
can I apply the filter to only a small section of the screen? When I drop the filter I want (new blue soft focus) onto the clip , it blurs the whole clip not just a small part of it
ok finally got around to trying again

When I go to effects room I have

3d
new blue video
particle
special
style
text masking
visual
prodad

so I see you said newblue, gotcha... let me try it
Quote: Go to the Effect Room (F4). You will see the Style category on the left and the effects are listed alphabetically by their name…

ok cool I have to finish cutting this other video then ill check that, thanks for the replies
I see the following rooms in Cyber 14 on the top left, from top to bottom

Media, effects, pip, particle, title, transition, audio, voice over, chapter, subtitle.

I don't see a style category, help :
Full disclosure, I was thrown into a new role at work and have to start using this software to clip videos etc....

I can do the basics, which are fairly easy but I need to start learning new things.

Todays question, can you blur out part of an image in the video?

I have a guy talking in 1 of the clips, in the background is a drawing that my engineering guy says he wants blurred out before i can release the video externally. I have no idea if that can be done with cyber 14.

I picked my user name based on my nickname, and my dogs name combined.
