Note: I will probably refund this and revert back to 14 is there isn't a way to do this.

Cyberlink PD 15 seems to have issues with audio encoding. I'm simply looking for a lossless way to encode while also uploading to Youtube.
That solution was to create a MOV file, which was available in PD 14. But PD 15 has removed that option.
Does anyone know how to create a 1080p video with LCPM?

Hi there,
So any of the MPEG, H264 or other formats you can only choose a compressed option. With Quicktime I used lossless audio which did not degrade the audio at all. But any other format and Cyberlink decided to degrade my audio even though it's originall 44.1khz WAV files.
What is the lossless option for Youtube now? Or do I just export the most lossless format there is and then convert to MP4 so youtube can accept it? (MKV files seem to work for H264 but Youtube doesn't process them properly)
EDIT: May have spoke too soon. It still degrades quality from original audio, but the original audio turned out to only be 128kbps for some reason. Moving the WAVs in.
Please delete for now.

I hadn't updated my nVidia drivers yet (I have a Titan) so I just did that. I'll try again and see if it fixed the issue.
Please understand the degradation occurs on producing a film also, not just in the preview. I understand how the preview works. Not having proper resolution in preview doesn't bother me, I had expected the file generated to not have that preview look though. (The original footage is high res, but not 4k)

I have a distinct problem that's going to make me toss any PD at all from this point on. PD14 when importing video to timeline looks nice and crisp. I'm taking screen capture on a desktop from a program I'm making videos about (actually it's a tablet, but still works)
I use OBS to capture into MP4 files, with multiple audio tracks.
When I import that footage, I get crisp clean footage, but when I start to edit down the line it becomes degraded. In this case it wasn't apparent until I opened the preview window to full screen, and needless to say if this is permanent, PD made me lose hours of editing unless I upload this to Youtube as is.
But turns out it's fine if I restart and reload the file. For some reason the degradation is gone. At least THAT is a solution (as I was really pissed writing this and decided to restart the program)
But how do I avoid this? The editing changes I make is also sluggish. It's as if there is a memory leak in the program.
