Haha excellent I don't feel nearly as silly. Thanks for that. After I complete this project my next will be producing in a 60 project converting whatever videos and making menu videos. Hopefully that will translate to a 60i blu Ray... Stay tuned!
Update!

I seemed to have solved the problem at least with this production. It may actually all be chalked up to a rookie oversight. It seems to have to do with frame rate.....

My projects have all been in working 30. My menu creation the core video intro etc..... I I totally tried biting the blu ray in 1920x1080/60p and actually had no trouble with the timing but had trouble with playback on my blu ray players at home as the core videos were PAL and 25/27 fps.

That made sense there'd be an issue with that conversation. However the menu videos... Made in 30 should be fine at 60p or 60i which was next next attempt and was disastrous especially with menu timing and no 60i (mpg2 or h264) ever made it to actual disc ... Strictly folder.

After much reading and realization that I had no clue what I was doing I began to understand that Blu Rays at least traditionally are in 24p. So I said what the heck I set everything down to 1920x1080 24/p and went out for diner. Came home compiled the blu ray preview worked fine no changing of my designated menu time of 75secs and played via PowerDVD from folder... All worked well and I was very concerned about jittering or sticky frames as I also read many experience with 24p. The blu ray is burning now.... By the way I don't know about you guys but as much as I love power director Nero really wins for burning vs power2go 10 or even PDR 14 so that's what I continue to use.... We'll just heard the disc eject so here we go! If any of you have advice for future productions please send it my way I need all I can get!
Very true I was actually just calculating that .... Still I have a 14 sec overage on my video and 14 secs cut off my audio. Very strange!
Thank you! I continue to review that posting but all I've seen so far.. An likely I missing something, is that the OP audio was 1:42 (102sec) over the 99s max. Mine are 75s both audio and corresponding video as they must loop precisely to synchronize vocal on re-loop.... Again I've tried it removing all titles and no essential thing I could produce into the movie itself... Again when using 75sec clips of MP3 and m2ts once I apply the template the default duration changes to 94 seconds and if I proceed through seemingly accurate previewing to burn blu Ray to directory I end up with 1:34 min menu streams. I'm back at it though and thanks again!
Sure have . Done the ones published by Cyberlink as well as the other unofficial ones. While they help a lot with program features they don't cover troubleshooting issues. I just tried again this time with four files: audio for the root 75s video for the root 75s (MP3 and m2ts) same with chapter... I got a resulting burn of root 1:15 and chapter 1:34. These are the ideas I had:

Tumbnails... I've read they screw with the duration
Title effects... Clearly they have a duration of the title isn't complete doing its thing will the program auto extend the duration? Where can I see the details of the titles within a template? I just see creation options . I fact there's is a title I made that I absolutely love and I have no idea what the starting and ending effects are because it doesn't tell me nor are any of the effect tiles highlighted .
Hello,

I have been working on this project for a month. Of those 30 days 1 was used to learn PD14Ult and create all the videos near carry for the blu-Ray I am authoring... The other 29 have been squandered on menu creation. It seems quite straightforward and not too complet. I have a blu-Ray structure in mind... It's has a root and a chapter menu. The root menu has a video background that I also authored. It is 75s in duration.... I also custom created. M4a file that matches the video and also is 75s in length.... They loop together and must do so because the beginning of the video has a dialogue or in some cases sounds that must match exactly to the audio track. The same goes for my chapter menu.. A video 75s and m4a also 75s that loop together. The root menu has two title effects... The chapter has 5 thumbnails displaying scenes from each chapter. All seems like it should be perfect to the frame..... I created my own menu templates one for the root one for the chapter menu that are only really designed for that said menu. I applied audio files first then adjusted the duration from 94 (the default for some reason) to 75. Finally I added my play first video. The resulting blue ray structure had a 60s root menu loop and 83 second chapter menu. When I force it back to 75 and try to reburn the same results. I friend a test blu Ray with 60s long menus video and audio... One came out at 60 the other 75s.

This is maddening! What is the program auto adjusting my set durations especially when reapplying a template. Also why must there be background audio? In Nero Video you have the option of just using the video's linked audio. I just need these menus to work correctly. Any ideas?
