Hi. I solved the problem. The original song that would distort as an MP4 was downloaded from YouTube. Tonight, I downloaded the same song from Amazon, imported it, and it played fine in the MP4 video with no distortions. Still, what I don't understand is why the original would play fine on the timeline, but become distorted when it was made into the MP4 video.

Thanks for your help!
OK, one more piece of information. I switched two songs in their locations on the timeline, one being the distorted one. In its new spot, the distorted one was still distorted in the MP4 I produced. In the timeline, the same song plays with no distortion whatsoever. I hope this bit of info helps a little.
Thanks,
Dave
Thanks. I used the profile analyzer, which I wasn't even aware of before. It said to put it down from 60 to 40. This worked. However, can you help me with a new problem? Everything on the timeline looks and sounds great, just the way I want it. But when I go to produce an MP4 video, about halfway through in the produced MP4 video, one song, and one song only is distorted (sounds the same as when the base is too loud on speakers, and results in awful distorted sound). The rest of the MP4 is great...video and sound, but this one song is awful. I tried removing the song from the timeline and then replacing it with the same song. However, the results were identical. I also tried producing the video to a different drive, but that didn't change anything. I have never had this type of problem before.

Look forward to your answer.

Thanks,
Dave Penque
Hi, Please help. I've got a 53 minute project. When I play it through on the timeline, everything is fine. However, when I went to produce it as an MP4 (1920 x 1080, 60), photos used in Slideshow Creator are missing. What can I do to alleviate this problem?
Thanks,
Dave P.
Quote Hi! Is it possible to insert an entire PowerPoint presentation (including music) into PowerDirector 15? If so, how do you do it? Thanks!

Thanks to all of you for your help. The easiest way was to save it as an MP4 video. It then imported easily into my project. I appreciate you taking the time to answer!
