Is there every going to be a lift on not allowing Blu-Ray playback of optical drive Blu-Ray movies being shown through a VR head set like the HTC Vive or Oculus Rift? Obviously you guys can detect the headset software to cause it to run. Can't we just confirm that the headsets are being used, not recording equipment for copying the protected material? The first software to allow Blu-ray playback is going to win over headset owners. Is there really a need to block VR headsets with HDCP nonsense? There are plenty of workarounds that people have been using for years to copy illegally that don't involve the use of VR hardware. All we want as VR headset owners is a reputable company to back us up in enjoying the right to play content we rightfully purchased on hardware that we enjoy. Having a virtual theater to watch movies in is a great escape when you need to get away. Thank you for an official reply.
