Apologies if this has been asked a thousand times before (I'm sure it has)....
I'm on the verge of purchasing the discounted PowerDirector 14 Ultra but the only thing preventing me from doing so is this -
If I buy the software, say, as a download...can I just pay for it like you would when you buy something in a shop and be able to use it at will without having to pay additional fees at any point? I keep seeing this Cloud service subscription stuff, saying that it runs out after a year and requires a renewal...I'm not interested in the Cloud service as my purchase will be for my company and we have our own internal server to back everything up on to, so I literally just want to buy the software once and be able to use it at will. Will the software stop working upon waiting for additional payment after a year, even if I don't wish to use the Cloud service?
