Quote:Hi Mark DG3,
I'd say, keep using Fraps for your triple screen video capture. I tried the screen recorder just now on a dual set up and it fails. The dafault settings are not allowing me to capture an expanded window.

Thanks for taking the time to reply...that's disappointing...maybe that would be something CL can put on the future 'To Do List'
I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for CL's (free) Screen Recorder to be able to capture 3 monitors at that resolution. I can't even get Camtasia Studio ($$$) to record from my single 4K (UHD) monitor. I have to switch the screen resolution to 1920x1080 to do a screen capture.
I think you'd probably need a dedicated screen recorder (i.e. hardware). I believe optodata recently purchased such a beast. Perhaps he could advise you further.
Cheers - Tony
Thanks for taking the time to answer...That is disappointing as I was looking forward to upgrading to PD14 from PD11...BUT at the moment I use FRAPS to record and that works ok
At the moment I use FRAPS to record and then import into PD11 Ultra for the purposes of basic You Tube videos...
I was looking to update to PD14 Ultra when I see it has screen capture...oh happy days...lol....BUT can it capture a resolution of 5760x1080...Triple Monitor gaming set up (see attached photo of my racing rig...I hope it loaded).
Hello everyone,
I was wanting to know can PD14 new Screen Capture be used for capturing my Triple Screens 5760x1080 resolution. At the moment I use FRAPS to record then import into PD12 to edit and export to You Tube.
thanks
