Indeed, this forum is another reason to chose Powerdirector, I have been searching around it already quite a while while testing the software.
As for your suggestion to supply details of my PC: thank you very much for your kind offer, but I doubt wether that will pose any problems. It is brand new, and my wife tells me it costed way too much money, but then again, she doesn't understand what components are inside it ;![]() . It should be more than up to the task.

I just tried several contenders (Powerdirector 13, Sony Moviestudio, Corel Videostudio, Adobe Premiere Elements) and I think Powerdirector is the best one overall, confirming what I read in some comparisons I found on the internet. So I decided to purchase it, but knowing that version 14 is probably up and coming, I'll wait a little longer.
