Hmmm...All I know is that Udemy requires the following specs to approve your videos:
H.264
30 FPS
3,000 Kbits
16:9
and 1280X720
My video was slightly blurry (according to them--it looked fine to me, but what do I know), and they said to make sure I had those specs. But you are saying 3,000 kbits is bad quality? So should I do some other settings to get approved, and they will never know it wasn't 3,000 kbits. They just don't like the "slightly blurry" look.

Ah yes. The video one says 17.11 MBPS. So hopefully, that was ok when I changed it to 3,000 kbits during production stage.

Oh I just went into custom profile, and it allowed me to enter in 3,000 for the bit rate, so hopefully this works.
Thanks for guiding me in the right direction.

Oh, and when I right click the clips, it says they are 192 kbs, which is a long way from the 3,000 this company wants.

Thanks!
When I go into produce, I see where to select H.264 and 1280X720, but I don't see anything about the bitrate. I select this setting after selecting H.264 and choosing MP4: 1280X 720/30 (16MBPS).
That is all I see to select. Sorry, I really am very ignorant on this terminology...bit rate means nothing to me. I was just told that the video I sent in for review on a teaching forum was a bit pixelated, and so it needed to follow these settings.
H.264, 30 FPS, 3,000 kbits, 16:9, and 1280X720. THe only one I don't know how to do is the 3,000 kbits..

I have googled this and to no avail.
BITRATE PROBLEM
Where can I see what the current bitrate is for my video project? I have to produce it using H.264, 30 FPS, 16:9, 1280X720, and 3,000 kbits.
I can see where to select every setting except for making sure I have 3,000 kbits. Where do I go to check to see what the data rate is and change it if need be?
FPS PROBLEM
Also, my settings has 30 FPS selected, but every time I drop a video file, a warning message comes up that my video file is in 30 FPS, but my settins are 29...which deosn't make sense because my settings show 30.
