Hi all, I just wanted to say thank you for your help. With your comments I have now managed add music to my video! In case it helps anyone this is what I did. I did have to find some music online and then find my way through to downloading it. From there I added it to the music timeline on my power director. I pressed edit in a hopeful manner and was redirected to wave editor . [So that's what its for!!] The music appeared on there all by itself. I edited after reading the directions. And apparantly wave editor did all that was needed to put the edited version onto my timeline. It's still all a bit of a mystery to this very untechy 75 year old but I'm super proud I did it. Now to remember how to do it again!

The application manager is for the PD365 where you pay a subscription to use.

The very bottom track in PD15 is the music track for background music. You can add any music from say your Music library on your pc. If you have the full retail version of PD15 then you will have additional music to use. Sound like that you have the free or oem version of PD15 that may have not included any extra music content.

Thank you for your swift reply. I did pay a fee for my power director. Not sure what oem version is sorry! Looks like I might need to find out if I have a music liburary. I have never made one. I was assuming Power director would have its own version of a music liburary. This is such a new learning curve for me, so much I don't know yet! Thanks again.
Please help! I'm not at all techy but I have managed to create a two minute video using my power director 15. full features editor. I thought to finish it off I would add background music. There does not seem to be a way to do this. I have looked in help and you tube also. I did manage to download application manager [who knew there was such a thing!] Expecting to find a music button on it but no luck! I know there is a way in the quick feature but my video contains titles and some slides as well as vedeo clips. I've spent a good couple of weeks learning how to do all this soproud I have got this far but would love to add music if I could. There must be a way, it seems such a basic thing to add but Iover a week of frustrated searching I'm still no further on! Thank you in advance
