When I actually rendered it the first time to produce the video file, I had hardware acceleration on and it rendered fine (indeed, hardware acceleration has been on since I've had PD12 and done dozens of videos). Just doesn't seem to like rendering with hardware acceleration when it actually has to burn a disc too. Very strange! But hey. Thanks.
Hi PlaySound... thanks for replying. But it happens whether I try to burn disk or save into a folder. It just spends 30 seconds on 0% then sends up an error message. I just randomly starting trying it over and over with different settings turn on or off and I've now got it work by turning off all hardware acceleration in the overall preferences tab. Not entirely sure why this has made it work but hey ho.
Hi all,

Got a big wedding file I need to burn to bluray. Already produced the overall file and got an mp4 of it so that actual video is already created. But burning a disc doesn't work (and this is the first time I've actually tried to burn a disc so not like it's worked before and suddenly stopped working). Doesn't even get past 0%. Just get an error saying either the source file is missing or contains an error or I've run out of system memory.

But it says this with any video file I try to burn so can't be an issue with the source wedding file, and also does it whether I burn to disc or burn to create a file on my desktop. I have 16gb of ram so no idea what the issue is.

Any thoughts as to why it doesn't even start to burn?
