Well thats embarrassing. I unmuted it and got sound from the files it came with. How ever, it was unmuted and i tried to play an mp4, which contained no sound from the video. I can bypass this by converting the video to an mp3 and just putting it on, but it would be nice if the program actually recognized this video had audio. thanks for fixing most of my problem. again, how embarrassing XD
I tried another file type ( avi) and it didn't work. Can anyone suggest a file type to try? i'm trying to avoid having to download the codec because it seems kind of sketchy. I would think MP4 and avi would be a few of the supported files (since it outputs in avi and I think mp4). I tried previewing even with the file that comes with it. The little boats on the sunset that has some audio. No output of audio once so ever. Maybe I have to reinstall or something? I really hope it doesn't come down to that.
I am using mp4 not mov. I will try different file types and see what happens thanks . What is K-lite codec pack?
Hello. I am getting no audio when I go to edit my video. The videos audio line does not show up, but when i play the video, there is audio. I have been able to bypass this by making a copy of the video then just converting the copy to audio, but even then the audio i add doesn't play. I made sure it is not muted in any way. Can someone give me some advice to fix this?
