Hello, thank you for getting back to me. Could use your help. I do have to build a system on a shoe string but something that will last me for a while. I have been looking on line for the best processer, video card, MOB, and memory. I have built my computers in the past. I got a good deal on this one 6-7 years ago that is why I did not build it. I will build this system myself. I am running windows 7 64. Which I like. I want it to work so I can edit HD wedding videos which I will be taking for my business. I will lookup all the items that you listed and check it out. Again Thanks for the advice.
Thank you for getting back to me. I thought that would be a problem. I will check the links you listed. have a blessed day!
I am importing 1080P 60, 30 FPS also tried 720 60 and 30 FPS. video clips into powerdirector 13. The clips were choppy in preview and on the time line. I found another post that said enable hardware decoding. I did that and had it on HD display. Clip was clear when in preview, but once I put it in the time line and played it was not clear but choppy. I have a quad 4 - 2.5 GH computer. 4GB ram. I have a Nvida GeForce 9500 video card, the video card resolution is 2560 X 1600. Nvida tec said will handle 1080p. when viewing clips on WWP clips are clear. Updated drivers for video card as of 5.5.15 Problem was their before I updated the drivers. Looking at starting a wedding video business, but will not be able to use PowerDiroctor 13 when I created a sample DVD it came out choppy. I could use some help. If I can't get this fixed I will have to try another Video eding progam. I really do like 13. All my DV tape videos come out great.
