Yes, I activated it. I solved the problem by using the mask function then scrolling down to the "object properties," unchecking "maintain aspect ratio," and then adjusting the boundaries.

Yes, but there is no button to unlock the aspect ratio so I can do custom cropping. In the help section it mentions all these wonderful options, but they don't appear in the power tools under Crop and Zoom.
I just installed PD14 and was trying to crop a video. I read the help and followed the directions but it doesn't seem to work. When I highlight and then right click on the video in the timeline, the "crop video" option is greyed out. Also, there is no crop icon that is supposed to be right above the timeline. I really need to be able to crop without regard to the aspect ratio.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
