I converted a short film from 3D mkv to 3d full sbs mode in PowerDirector 17 and it worked perfectly. I tried to convert a longer film and the program locked up. It would not convert any 3D files from that point on.

Thinking it might be just too old a version, I downloaded 365, loaded up a 3D film file, went to Produce, but it only gives the choice of sbs half screen which lowers the quality.

Does 365 support full screen sbs conversion mode? Is it just missing from the trial/demo version?

And lastly are there any issues converting a large 3d file at 20/30gigs with 365 if indeed the paid version has full sbs?

(I've got 32g of ram, a 2080ti and terrabytes of hd space)

Thanks for any info !
So to confirm: I have to click on a mandatory 'try now' button in a popup window that says I have xx days left (it's still counting down) of a trial version which expires on 7/11/2014, every single time I want to run the program?

And on 7/11 see what happens?

This is, for a supposedly quality program, and after paying $75.00, a pretty dumb thing to have to do.

Seems like I should have just updated my VideoStudio instead.

But I certainly do appreciate your help and information.

Thanks for the quick reply. Here's a screenshot. Also I get the trial prompt when starting, buy now/try now.
I've been playing with the trial version for a week or so, and liked it enough to go buy a boxed PD12 Ultra.

I uninstalled the trial version, deleted all directories, deleted the registry entries, then installed the two disks from the box. It asked for the serial number, and worked the first time I used it.

But the next time I booted up the program, it reverted to the trial version screen. So I uninstalled everything again, and reinstalled the disks, put in the serial number, etc.

The program still starts in the trial version.

In the member area I show both the trial and box version registered, and can't delete/edit either.

Sent a help desk request but so far no response.

Might anyone have any suggestions at this point?

Thanks!!
