OCR embedded in video editing software is an interesting concept though
I agree, lol. However word recognition was not really what I had considered. That is one reason I said the question was hard to frame. I was not necessarliy thinking of recognizing a word, but anytime the SAME object appeared in the SAME place on a frame.

Not sure how to frame the question. I have quite a few videos that I am editting that are from video captured online. The software used would cause a word to show up on the video anytime the mouse was moved across a certain spot in the screen.. Most any segment more than a minute or so long would have this happen several times and it usually lasts for a few seconds.
I can of course delete them one at a time but since here are SO MANY I wondered if there is a feature that allows you to automatically delete all frames in a video that have an occurance of this word?

On point, that seems to do the trick. Thanks

I have been using Power Director since version 9 but I am presently using version 12. I have had this cropping issue all along but now it is important to resolve. When I am attempting to change the crop border it seems to move rather substantially as the MINIMUM allowable crop. I am only trying to eliminate a strip at the left and top border of about 5 pixels, not large at all. But when you grab the border and start to move it seems that the first place you can move to (it jumps) is probably about 3 times that size.
I understand that it is maintaining aspect and I can move center position so I am not losing right and bottom borders, though the interface is rather awkward. However I have not been able to change the crop in such a way to keep from losing substantially more of the image the I want to. Is there a setting I need to change or is this software just not capable of making a change of this size?
