Well, nothing is working..
Can't even delete the fake one, since that will cause to freeze up PowerDVD.
I probably need an answer from an End user again, since you guys never seem to resolve the issue.

It's my local D Drive, always online.
it shows old mp4, avi and my dvd folders with items that are not there anymore.
I cannot delete them, nor update the library
I have files older then 4 months in there that don't even exist anymore.

I have tons of movies in the library that don't exist in the folder anymore.
How do I remove them??
it doesn't seem to auto update.
I can't delete them
When I do delete, then the program freezes up.
Using the latest patch btw.

I did notice that when PowerDVD starts I quickly see the main screen, and then it jumps into the library..
There is no way to get to that main screen isn't it?
(The big powerDVD logo)
just to see if it's on that screen..

Yep, that's the Icon that's missing..
I know I can add them to the movie folder, but if you have a lot of files in there, or subfolders it does NOT tell you what it is..
With the Icon I can select the folder I want, so I know what it is.
I know it's a stupid little thing, but I was using it for years, and now it's gone..

I CANNOT believe that nobody from Cyberlink can give me an answer about this..
Case CS001307643 is now open for 3-4 weeks... IS IT REALLY THAT HARD TO LOOK AT THE IMAGE AND GIVE ME AN ANSWER!!!!!!!

But it's a pain to keep clicking and browsing folder into folder, while the little folder browser was quick and easy

Now... how do I install it in Windows 8.1 ? ( I upgraded over the weekend from 8 to 8.1)
I start the setup, and that's it... I see it minimized in the task tray, and that's it..
I was able to install the Trial for V13, but I don't like V13 since it doesn't have that button where I can select my DVD folder.
Where is that in V13? If I want to play quick a DVD Folder, do I need to add them into that Library and then play it ??

At the left bottom you see a disc drive... that's where you can select your drive or folder you want to playback.
I can't show my V12, since you guys have my license blocked for a week now.... (see my open tickets, and nobody seems to know why, or wants to do anything for that... really frustrated with your customer service)
And have no trial installed either, so i'm screwed..

ok, just got an e-mail that they are escalating it again...

I re-installed it a bunch of times, between Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 .. now I went back to 8. Got a new laptop. then an SSD
so it's about 10-12 times I had to reinstall..
Tech support is not responding, all I get is that it's a technical issue and they are analyzing the screen shot

Ok, for 4 Days now, I am waiting to get my license unblocked..
This is ridiculous.
How long does it take???????? Weeks?
I gave all the proof, and all I get is "We are going to investigate, why this happened"
I installed it over 10+ times.... Thanks to crappy Windows 8 / 8.1
Now I am threatened as a fricking pirate...

Well, I tried everything, and cannot find it.. I used that movie indexer, but that's very slow.
All I want is a simple dropdown box (what used to be there at the left bottom)
Where you could select your DVD/CD rom and a Video/DVD folder.
Such a simple thing, that they removed...
I guess I won't be buying the upgrade.. I played with the Trial, and went back to my V12
Where I have that button..
I don't care for anything else.
So... if it's there somehow, let me know.

How do you play a DVD folder now. Can you only use that media center by browsing to that folder? Which I really don't care for.

In V12 I had at the left bottom, quick access to select DVD or a DVD Folder
Where is this in V13 since I don't see the icon there anymore?
