Good idea.

I cannot find the software (I bought the camera about 10 years ago) but will probably be able to download it.
And I will check the properties of the AVI-file.

With kind regards,

Paul
Hello,

I'm just starting with PowerDirector v11 and I've a question about scene-detection during capture resulting in blocky AVI-files.

I'm capturing from miniDV (Sony DCR-TRV80) and selected scene-detection in settings and the scene's are seperately converted into AVI-files.
When I preview the AVI-file with a program other then PD11 (for example Quick Time), the video looks blocky.
However, the final result on DVD (created with PD11) looks fine to me.
I also used another program to review the AVI-file (other then QuickTime) and I noticed that there are some differences between them.

My question is:
Do other people also have this "problem"? Because I would like to save the AVI-files as a back up.

Thank you in advance.
Witk kind regards,

Paul
