Thank you for your responsw once again kingsmeadow..... When ever I play the preview there is no issues at all... I have recently bought a diiferent brand of dvd+r though.... I was originally burning onto Memorex, I bought verbatim dvd+r and have watched it on my computer and there were no issues on this copy, have not yet tried it on a dvd player so I do not know if the issue is solved just yet... I do know that certain programs work better with certain brands of dvd+r's, is powerdirector like this?? does it work better with certain brands than others?? does it work better with dvd-r's or dvd+r's?? maybe this is the solution to the problem?? once again your response will be greatly appreciated!!!!!

thank you kingsmeadow. I figured that much. I can deal with the amount of time that it takes to burn a movie, it gets on my nerves but I can deal with it. I produced a movie all the way through and it took 6 hrs, then burned it and it only took an hour and a half to burn the whole movie. But it did not solve my problem. I was only wondering how long it should take to produce a movie because I thought this would fix the issue that I was having. My issue is my final output burned to dvd, the audio on it will cut out from time to time making me miss sometimes important things in movies when watching on a dvd player, and once again sometimes this happens with green pixilation flashing across the screen. So with all that said is there any way to fix this?? I am currently burning a movie using the hardware acceleration to see if this helps. I have also attempted slowing down my burn speed and like I said at the beginning of this reply I have successfully produced a movie first before burning it to dvd and this did not work either, my issue still persists. the audio still cuts out from time to time. I am running windows 8 64 bit with 4GB system memory my cpu speed is 2.4gz, and I have a AMD E1-1200 accelerated processor. I the computer is a HP Pavilion all in once pc. I just got this computer and I got it for the purpose of burning dvds and working from home. I am renting to own this computer so I can switch it out with another one that I might do better with. If this system is not suitable to burn or run powerdirector any faster then I will trade this sucker in. Please now 1. Can anybody tell me how to fix my audio issues? and 2. Should I get another computer and if so what, specs should I look for when getting another computer? Thanks to everybody that has replied to me thus far. Any further help would once again be muchly appreciated.

Thank you both for your replies bubba and Jaime. I do not know how to get to hardware acceleration to use it or to tell if it is on or off on my powerdirector 11. I have tried slowing my burn speed down, this has helped somewhat, but it hasn't solved my issues. To re-explain the issue that I am having, the sound cuts out every 5 min or so, not for long just for like 2 sec or so and sometimes with green pixilation. I end up missing what is being said sometimes and it is very annoying. Going forward any direction on this issue will be extremely helpful. I have not yet been told if producing a movie should take as long as it takes me. I can work with it taking 3hrs to burn a dvd, I wish it was faster but I can live with it. But it would take what would seem up to a whole day just to produce my movies first and then I would have to burn it which would take another 3 hrs. PLEAS HELP!!

Can you help me out and direct me how to get to the forum stickies?? I cant find it. Ive read about the hardware acceleration but am not sure how to get to that either. Any response from you will be greatly appreciated.

I was hoping that someone might be able to tell me how long it should take to produce a full length dvd video. Everytime I burn a video the dvd has glitches in it. The sound will cut out every minute or so, and sometimes with a green flash of pixl issues. Ive read that to fix this issue I should produce the video first and then burn it. But it already takes about 3 hours to burn a dvd using powerdirector 11. Ive tried producing the video first and given up because when I produced the video I started it left my computer for like 2 hours and then came back to check on it and it was only 5 percent done. Is this normal?? What can I do to make the burn process go faster? what can I do to make the produce process go faster?? is it my computer?? should I provide the processor that I have?? I am working on an HP all in one pavilion, with an amd processor id have to look to see exactly what processor it is. Im not an expert on a computer but also and not computer illiterate... Please any information would help!!!!
