Oke, I found it.

You can use Mediainfo that tells everything inside the mkv (Video, Audio and subtitles).

The MKV subtitles where VOBSUB's and not supported by Powerdvd.

I've some MKV's with internal subtitles. All mediaplayers display the subtitles (VLC, MPC-HC, WMP). But with PowerDVD 12 Option subtitle is grayed out.
