The detailed issue description:

BD region code sets itself to 0, not allowing BD to be played. Try to play a BD and get a warning box (PDVD printscreen1 attached) followed by an information box (PDVD printscreen2 attached). Delete the Cyberlink folders in C:\Users\Public, C:\Users\Rudy\My Documents, C:\Users\Rudy\AppData\Local and C:\Users\Rudy\AppData\Roaming. Uninstall PDVD12, uninstall the ntk_PowerDVD12 device in Device Manager. Restart computer. Uninstall a corrupt Power Control [2012/12/08 17:26:36] device in Device Manager (this showed up after uninstalling the ntk_PowerDVD12, it was not in there before). Restart computer. Run CLCleaner2-PowerDVD_12.0. Reinstall PDVD12. Install PDVD12 patch to update to current version. PDVD 12 runs great, will play BD, region code reset to 4 changes left. Here is where the trouble begins again. Restarting or putting the computer to sleep will reset BD region code back to 0. Can anyone help? I have actually left the computer on for about 12 days without a problem or the region code resetting to 0. Today went to go play a BD, the region code reset. Frustrating to deal with, I don’t want to have to uninstall and reinstall PDVD every time I want to watch a BD and have the PC shutdown or in sleep mode. Can anyone help on this problem?
Fergie, did you find a solution to this problem? I am currently having the same problem with PDVD 12 Ultra.
