I would love to try the LPCD burn with the audio but I have no idea what that means or how to go about trying it?

If anyone can briefly explain it to me I'm sure I can manage it.

Thanks!
So, you're saying I need to get the sound all by itself and add it as an MP3 rather than using the original audio in the video clip? I can try this. I'm using several different clips but I might be able to make it work. I hadn't thought of this so thanks for the advice.

Heather
I am using XP and PD7.

I have never encountered this problem before but the project I have tried to burn will burn just fine, but when playing it back on a DVD player, the sound cuts out after a few minutes.

This is not additional sound like an mp3, it is simply the original sound from the video clip.

I know the DVD player is capable of playing projects just fine because this isn't the first time I'd watched a project I've completed on it. It has always worked fine before.

I am using high quality Sony DVD-R discs.

Any suggestions? I need a lot of copies of this project done very soon and I am stuck!

Any help is very much APPRECIATED.
The sound that is cutting out is the actual sound from the video, not something I added separately.

I'm using Sony DVD-R's. I'm not really sure what the difference between DVD-R and DVD+R is but I think they are descent quality.

What do you mean about burning to an uncompressed LPCM format? How do I go about trying that? I'm a little confused.

Could you clarify please?

Heather
I just burned a project on Power Director 7 and the sound cuts out completely after just a few minutes.

I have never encountered this problem before and can't find a reason for it to happen.

When I view the files in the editor, the audio is fine.

I need this project completed quickly. I'm on a deadline. Any ideas?
