I just burned a project on Power Director 7 and the sound cuts out completely after just a few minutes.

I have never encountered this problem before and can't find a reason for it to happen.

When I view the files in the editor, the audio is fine.

I need this project completed quickly. I'm on a deadline. Any ideas?

Is the sound that cuts out video sound or added music? I've had this issue in the past with some mp3 files. I've often corrected by re-ripping the audio or even ripping to a different format. You might also try to burn in the uncompressed LPCM audio format, I've had some DVD players that skip audio and have audio problems with the Dolby burn. Also make sure you are using quality DVD's, it does make a difference.

The sound that is cutting out is the actual sound from the video, not something I added separately.

I'm using Sony DVD-R's. I'm not really sure what the difference between DVD-R and DVD+R is but I think they are descent quality.

What do you mean about burning to an uncompressed LPCM format? How do I go about trying that? I'm a little confused.

Could you clarify please?
