Good morning gentlemen and thanks for the help.

So I read your posts today. I got the drone and did some new videos and photos.

I then took the sd card out of the drone and d/l them to a folder I placed on desktop, and I removed the sd card from the card reader. I then started PD14 and imported the files from desktop. The videos (.mp4) imported perfect. The photos (.jpg) showed as a black box.

After that, I uninstalled PD14 and re-installed it and tried the process over again with the same results.

I am at my wits end.

Bob
tomasc, Some of those jpgs have been on my computer for months. I'm not sure that's the issue?
Here is what I have found so far. If I take a photo (jpg) with my drone, it is stored on an sd card. If I ask PD14 to import the photo from the sd card, I get a black box. If I take the sd card and send the picture to a file and then try to import, I also get a black box.
BUT, if I upload the picture to Amazon Cloud, then from there, copy it to my desktop, the ask PD14 to import it from the desktop, IT WORKS!
Such a hassle! I don't know how to get it to import from the sd card or the file.
Longedge, That's exactly what I am doing. The sim card and the card reader are not connected to the computer. Bob
Could someone tell me the difference in these photos? One (12-35-25) works in PD14. The other (12-36-02) shows up as a black box. Call me confused! Bob
Thanks Tony. All of the jpg,s look good. It's just when I try to add them to PD14. I appreciate all the help. Bob
I transfer from the drone to the computer with a card reader.
I hope this helps. This is what I see when I double click the file. But when I drag it or upload it to PD14, the black box appears.
tomasc, I did as you suggested. I double clicked a jpg in a file and it previewed in the window. I then drug it to PD but it showed up as a black box. Bob
Thanks for getting back to me Tony. I tried both of your suggestions, but still get the black boxes. The videos from the drone (.mp4) work great. It's just the .jpg files. I'm 99.9% sure the camera is set up correctly. Bob
I am trying to d/l .jpg images from the camera on my drone. But all I get is black screens. All other .jpg images from other cameras seems to work OK. I have checked and my drone camera is set to capture images in .jpg format. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Bob
