I used microsoft paint. Cretaed a square (the size of the resolution of your monitor), filled with color black, then save as jpeg. Import that picture into your project, use the 'fade' transition. Worked really well for me.
I use PD4 retail. When I author my DVD, I would like to create chapters in the video, but I don't like it to be directed to "Select Chapter" page when I select the menu.. Is it possible to just click the main menu and then the video automatically plays (and not going to the 'select chapter')? Can anyone help me please? Thanks.
I am using PD4 Retail Version. When I import VOB files or folder from my hard drive to the library, the VOB
files are automatically subdivided into 15-second short clips. Thus, for example, a single "file.vob" becomes
around 50 clips, with filenames becoming, file.vob (1), file.vob (2), file.vob (3), and so forth…
My problem with this is when I put them all in the timeline workspace, the transition from one clip to the
next is very bad. There is a slight pause going to the next clip and the transition is not smooth.
Can I import files such that when they are in the library, the file will remain intact, and not sub divided into several scenes or clips? Can anyone help me please?
