yes, I have "12.0.2726.0"
I tested with original FPS 59.9 and it did the same, the audi is aout of sync by 200 to 400 millisenconds
did not know that sync problem with this version...
Thanks Stevek, I have antivirus (Emsisof) but I don't think is a performance problem (because much procesing), in normal use the CPU is a 4% used capacity, and when I'm producing I only do that.
I drop the FPS to 24 for reduce file sisze
Hi to all
I have been experienced some problems with audio sync after produced in PowerDirector12 (12.0.2726.0)
I browse the forum looking for sync issues, and I found some, but no one fit my scenario
I have original MP4 1920x1080 59.94fps with time duration about 50, 60 or 90 minutes, and after produce the video I get between 200 and 400 milliseconds out of sync, is no much but is noticeable when people on video "talks" and the lips are out sync with audio
I notice this un-sync audio with produced video with or without cutting any part

My produce steps are
1) Original file is
Video
H264 MPEG-4 AVC 1920x1080
FPS: 59.94
Bitrate 10.11Mg (or about 10352kbs)

Audio
AAC
Sampling rate: 48khz
Bitrate: 128 kbs

2) I do some improvements with “fix/enhance” (denoise, enhancement and color)
3) Then I cut unwanted parts (if apply)
4) Select all parts and “group the objects” in order to be one
5) Produce with a custom MP4 profile
Video
H264 MPEG-4 AVC 1280x720
23.976fps
Bitrate 6000kbs
Entropy CABAC

Audio
AAC Stereo
Sampling rate: 48khz
Bitrate 128 kbs

My computer is a laptop Asus G750-JX with I7 and Gforce-GTX770M
Win8.1 (up to date)
I upgrade my PD12 software to last patch (12.0.2726.0)

What I notice is that PowerDirector use 100% off CPU when is producing (all 8 cores), I am happy for PD to use all the power, but it can be symptom of a problem…

How should I aust the audio to video in miliseconds??
I try to unlink the video/audio, but no option to displace the audio 200 milliseconds.
It should be a procedure to fix it but no sure how…

Thanks to all for read
Hi!
Try to use MP4, I use to low the FPS from 59 to 23.9 without lack in video smoothness...

So... the original bite-rate is 384kbs, and new is 2250kbs, this is almost 6 times more kbs per second, the bite-rate tells you how much data is using to encode a single second of video, this is video quality, because more data means more details, but not in your case, because you can't get better than the original.
you can apply this idea when you reduce the bit-rate, you get smaller files but lower quality

you are producing 29.97 FPS from originaly 10.3 FPS ... this is not improving... but I don't know if PD12 will let you use 10.3 FPS, at least should be 23/24FPS (depending the encoding)
Check this video, it is for dataColor product, but is good information to learn about color accurancy

Hi!!, you should check the original resolution (width and height), then produce with same resolution or lower.
You can edit the profiles and change it (low the video or audio byte rate) and saved as personals profiles, and then use it for production.
You can improve the quality of your capture by changing editing the constrast and colors (this will enlarge the final size)
You can also lower the frames per seconds, but check to not lose video smooth
Cheers
you may have color accurancy issues, may be your monitor is not right calibrate, so when you modify colors, you may not see the true, it could be a little bright or little dark than you are seeing, there are many factors that can chage the real color and what you see, and what your monitor show...

Thanks you very much Dafydd
looks like I got a fail on windows 8.1 update (KB2919355), and this could be the problem... but not sure yet. After solve this issue I will come back to you all and let you know the progress.

Hi!!
I'm not able to install the patch 2726 PD12, the download process is just fine, but after execute the file "PowerDirector_2726_GM5_Patch_VDE140321-01.exe" it gets stop, the excecution remains waiting for another exe file "Setup.exe", which is located in "C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\Temp\RarSFX4", and nothing happen, try many times, no way, I stoped the anti virus, but still not work...
I did a dump from this "setup.exe" running file, but can't open

Thanks in advance
