ok, I understand but the files are too big to be attached :/

When I attach them, the forum page times out and just displays a blank page, and when I try to copy/paste a file as code bloc in the message, buffer is too long and message can't be posted.

Well, maybe you can help me without the file. In fact everything looks fine in the pds file, no strange characters or anything else. When the file is loaded in powerdirector, it first load the differents sound and videos files, but then at the timeline loading everything crashes. you can see it on theses screenshots :

but I don't see where the initial crash could have modified the project file :/
I have tested with other project files that had not crashed during edit mode, and they still work
it's converted, but if you open pds file in your browser it will also display the contents
Hi,

I am having a problem with a project file. I tried to burn my project, with the burn button, but Power Director crashed.
Each time I restart it, and attempt to reopen my project file, powerdirector crashes during the file loading.

I would like to know if there is a way to repair my project file. I've already edited it, and it was not really readable because of the lack of \n, so i've made a little parser to see where the bug is that causes powerdirector to crash while loading.

this is my project file :
http://t.yannis.free.fr/powerdirector/maroc.txt

this is my project file parsed :
(beware this file is no more utf16 encoded, and i skipped the header, so don't try to load with powerdirector...)
http://t.yannis.free.fr/powerdirector/maroc_parsed.txt

If one of your experts has an idea, I would really appreciate it as I really need this file to work again with this bugfree editor

Thank you for your time
