thanks for the useful responses guys. So am I correct in understanding that PD9 is really only a project editor with no persistent global library feature to aid in the organization of video files?

I searched here and read the user guide but neither indicates how to save files to the library, only how to save projects. I have no trouble importing files and folders to the library but When I reopen PD9 my library holds only the samples not the files that had previously been imported. I am using the trial program. My saved projects can be recalled. Is this behavior a feature of the trial program or is it functioning correctly? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
