BTW: Someone suggested we "rant" to Cyberlink, I spent 10 minutes looking for an e-mail address for tech support and could not find one, if you want to talk about volume sales they have one, if you want to become a dealer there is one, but I could not find anything for tech support or pre-sales questions.
I just started using version 9, I have the same problem, home video movies taken with a camcorder around 1980 which PD refuses to copy. Since it sounds like this problem will go away I have no choice other than to return the product.
