So I have to put all that information down, which makes the question asked look so insignificant? (Because in size, it is.) Not that I don't understand what you're saying, just too much work involved for simple questions due to my determination to learn. (Which I do better with those whom guide me) It's already hard to learn considering not many people have the knowledge I seek to learn. Making machinima is what I shall be doing, specifically quite a few WoW ones. Thus forcing me to make the questions more understandable to those who don't make machinima. (Which from my understanding, there probably won't be anyone here) Considering that, I have to also meet the requirements, which would get rather repetitive.
Just a lot of work, considering how many questions I have. My mind's filled with ideas, imaginative as a child's brain. Just as much as ideas, I have questions if not more. But everyone here was kind none the less, I appreciate that.
Thanks anyways, Dymetreus

One last thing, even on the lowest possible, to the point I can hardly see my character, it still lags. Guess my computer can't handle this program. Period.

Well, I'd really rather not repost all the requirements to even begin a question over 10 times honestly.. Guess I'm gonna have to do it alone. Took me awhile to make this topic without the basic requirements, left alone doing it all again for many times to just ask simple questions instead of keeping it all in one topic.
Was a pleasure.

While I don't doubt for a moment that what you say is true, my friend. However this remains the case even during when I put it on the lowest possible. It still remains laggy. Lest I use the Media Viewer, which seems to work, 'OK'. However much of the details I desire to add will not be visible. I honestly haven't a lot of money to throw around.
Simply said, the antidote to my poison lay in front of me, yet I am too weak from the poison to do anything about it. Guess I'll have to suffer.
I have a new question which I've asked since my first post, check it out!

As predicted, I'm double posting and I know that it's frowned upon certain if not most forums. Again I'm sorry, I have my next question:
I am making the machinima as we speak, but I find myself having to repeat the same functions a lot. I use the chroma key loads so that the back round I used doesn't appear. (It's just a plain color, in this case red) I'm going to have a LOT of slides, is there a copy and paste of sorts for this?
Also using the chroma key, I don't want to say it's bad quality or anything, but it seems to me I can't make the red go away without taking some of my character away as well. I still have this light red aura going around him, is there a way to get rid of the redness without taking pieces of my character away as well?

I'll be quite honest, I had to look up on Google to define diagnostic. For awhile I didn't even slightly comprehend what you meant. Then I looked back at the page you showed, and now it's making sense. I'll hopefully be able to show something for it soon.
--EDIT--
I have done as you've asked. I hope this makes my thread a little more professional. Also it seems it's by default unchecked. If you meant the unchecked box deemed, "Enable HD video processing. (shadow file)".

|
You want me to do EVERYTHING on that page? O.O And here I thought my post was long.
---- EDIT ----
I however took your advice, and to what I understood and thought was directed at me, (even though the rest could at a later date) and have started an, 'information' part on my original post.

Thank you for your reply. I believe they are HD and I have set them to HD through preview. But it lags just as bad as when I put them on lower quality. And my computer is quick, quick enough for this definitely. If it can play WoW and use fraps without lag on decent to good quality, then it should be able to handle this I would imagine. Though I could be wrong.
-------
Using the Media Viewer, on the lowest quality, it doesn't emit much lag if at all. So to /some/ extent, the problem is solved. Through the preview the lag is there, but the media viewer seems to solve that. On the lowest quality, that is. I shall have more questions in the future, if not very shortly. If I do double post sometime because of this, I'm sorry. I would just edit my original post, but then one of these times this topic shall be so far back no one will see it and thus, I would have to either post or make another topic. Thanks again to my first reply!

Greetings fellow users of PowerDirector, I am using the trial version of PD and so far it seems what I'm looking for. I'm going to try to use every single day of this trial version until I am 100% it is for me. My plans are to use it mostly for making machinima. (Many different kinds, including the well known MMORPG World of Warcraft)
I would normally love to tell you my channel, but unfortunately I haven't really much to offer. This little topic I've made will contain questions that I have and will ask in the future. I could just make a topic for every question I have, but honestly I feel like I should save topic space. Also I may make some friends here, and it'll be easier to have them help me when I need it!
If someone here makes machinima, and would like to give advice, then throw them my way! I'll catch every last one of them. My goal is to get 100 subscribers at first, and if someone helps, or inspires me to make a video, I shall give credit where it's due. Thanks again to all whom assist this poor little nooblet!

Information
------------
My version of PD is Trial 9.0.0.2701
(If you don't have enough information, and would like for me to add some, just ask!)

Questions
------------
First off, I am having a little difficulty with the preview. It lags every slide it goes through, as if it has to buffer every single one and makes it very laggy. I tested whether it affected the video once it's produced, and thankfully it doesn't. However, my video I'm working on at the moment has A LOT of slides, and the preview's purpose is now defeated. I can't use the preview to see whether the video is the way I want it to be! Most of the video skips, the rest is laggy. I looked on google and found someone saying to put the quality down, I put it the farthest down and it still does the same.

You must excuse me for the doubleply as I call 'em. (Double reply) I have found the solution. And I will tell you for the sake of people who have this problem in the future.
Besides what's been said, the download even though I deleted the download buttons, I forgot to delete the winrar files. When I did so, it went back to normal, no problems at all.
Though I didn't get an answer, I thank you all none the less who would've tried to help me.

Hello, I know everyone can see my name but just call me Nick. I'm interested in making machinima, and I've only heard good things about this program. I desire to test the trial version, but I find the installation telling me at the end that the file is corrupt, and to try downloading it again as well as restarting.
I did so multiple times, but that doesn't seem to be the solution. I've tried tirelessly to get it to work, but it seems to be all for naught. It seems they limit me, as I cannot tell them where to put the file or anything. I'm not left with much breathing space in order to attempt to solve the problem myself. So I find myself here on your forum pleading.
I haven't had a dream for a very long time, and now that I do it seems I need assistance. I hope you all can make this as painless and quick as possible. I will need the energy ahead likely. I will write the displayed error below.
"Some installation files are corrupt. Please download a fresh copy and retry the installation."
"CRC failed in x64\ISSetup.dll
The file "???" header is corrupt"
Thank you for your time and patience, I hope to get an answer soon.
