I tried Power Director 8, and it did the same thing.

Fortunately, it turns out that it was just that one .mov file. Other .movs taken from that same camera just minutes later work fine. Odd.

Oh no. I thought I was doing something wrong. I'm having the same problem: No .mov files will show or play the audio tracks when inserted into a timeline in Power Director 9. The videos were taken in 720p with a Kodak v1073 old school camera. They play fine with quick time and vlc.
