FredB:
I don't know how to post a screencapture, but right now I'm not real concerned about the sound so much as I am about getting the video right. I'm reading the Help of PD9 and in the PRODUCE Window its telling me to make sure that I set the Video Clip Interlacing Format to either "top field first" or "bottom field first" or "progressive." How do I know which one to set, so that the DVD I intend to burn, will play on my 50" plasma television?

I suspect you are correct. Now could you help me with another question--Is there anything I should know to combine an .avi file format with a .mov format. It seems that the audio on my clips is getting mixed up. Could this be the cause? Also, I am trying to produce a video to be shown on my 50 inch plasma TV. Is there anything else I would need to know to do this? What resolution would you recommend?

The file says "produce.mov"
I checked the properties and it says the file type is "MP4" and the video type is "H.263 AVC"

I have put together my first movie, using two different types of clips shot from two different cameras. One type of clip has the .avi extension and the other has the .mov extension. All clips were shot at 640x480 resolution, not HD. My preview says it should run for about 55 minutes, but when I did the production in PD9 it came out with a 44 gig movie. I am a new user of the PD software and I feel that something is very wrong. Can anyone help?
