PowerDVD (previous versions) » Error reading setup initialization file » Go to message
PowerDVD BD edition v8 will not open, get an update notice to download and install Lite-On.3228U_TaRe43_DVD090826-07.exe

set up wizard get through initial steps and then I am hit with; "Error reading setup initialization file" Same as Dov_c above.

Player is now non-functional and will not run without upgrade installed.
