Thanks so much for the tip! I see exactly what needs to be done now...the Cyberlink plug-in is limited to the same screen dimensions as the navigation/playback controls of WMC. The difference between WMC and Cyberlink, though, is that the actual video playback in WMC automatically fills the entire screen outside the boundary of the WMC navigation/playback controls, while Cyberlink video playback is strangely confined to the area within the navigation/playback controls.
I had manually adjusted down, using the NVIDIA Control Panel, the resolution dimensions of the extended desktop on my HDTV to something like 1174 by 680-something so that I could see the whole area of the extended desktop while outside of WMC. (My LG HDTV is only a 720p set.) I've since changed the resolution to the default 720p which is actually 1280 x 720 @59Hz and the re-run the WMC TV screen setup, and the Cyberlink video playback dead space has been significantly reduced to just a sliver on all 4 sides of the screen. I'll keep playing around but it's much better than it was before...I can live without seeing the edges of a maximized window outside of WMC!
Still though, I don't understand why Cyberlink can't make it so the video playback automatically adjusts to the full screen dimensions just like WMC does, because not all of our TVs interpret the signals the same way.

After finally allowing PDVD10 patch 2429 to auto-disable Windows Aero when playing a BD, I can now play BD discs using the PDVD WMC Plugin, but now they won't fill up the whole screen! I now have an annoying black border around the video. Before actually inserting the BD disc into my ODD though, the blue empty disc screen appears to only fill the same smaller size, with the WMC's screen seems to be "behind" the plugin. The WMC blue screen area seems to be what turns into the black "dead" space after starting BD playback. Please note that normal playback of WMC recorded TV shows fills up the whole screen perfectly, so this isn't an issue with the screen size needing adjusting, nor is it an aspect ratio issue. This only happens when using the PDVD WMC plugin. Anyone have any ideas? My system specs are listed in my signature and I'm always keeping up-to-date with all of my drivers, too.
