Be carefull leaving as $USD as when I purchased it converted $72 to £72 despite the exchange rate being closer to £45. Tried email variety of people to get refund but to no effect.

Hi quick word of warning for anyone in the UK trying the trial version of PowerDirector. At the end of the trial you will be presented with a popup offering to upgrade to full version at a discount price, don't follow it. I clicked on the link and ended up at the US webshop, then clicked to change from USD to GBP and went on to complete transaction and download full version. I should really of checked the cost more closely, when I checked the email what had been displayed as USD 72.43 (about GBP 4 had been converted direct to GBP 72.43, this seemed a little expensive and when checked at the UK webshop I could have downloaded without a "special" offer for GBP 69.99. I contacted Cyberlink who apologized for the inconvenience and provided me with a link to view my invoice, it seemed my only option was to claim my 30 day refund, go through the performance of a LOD and then purchase again from the UK shop. Seems some special offers are more special than you think and the need to check the real cost even with reputable suppliers.
