I've been having similar problems. I found that if I play a DVD first, I can then play Blu-Rays.

If I try to play a Blu-ray after starting my PC, PowerDVD 10 MarkII closes. I then can't access the settings or play anything.

If I try to play a DVD after starting my PC, PowerDVD 10 MarkII plays the DVD fine. I can then play Blu-ray movies and access the settings.

If I turn off the automatic download setting and try to play a Blu-ray after starting my PC, PowerDVD pops up messeage stating there is a problem with the Display or Content and to download the checking tool from Cyberlink.
I'd like to watch "Cloudy with a chance..." but can't because Mark II is not available yet.

Any update on a release date?
