Thanks Carl! I think it actually worked. At least it burned this time. I really appreciate your help. Wish I would have gone through this forum a couple weeks ago, instead of e-mailing tech support. And yes.. I have a 3.0 GHZ Quad Core with 4 GB Ram and Windows 7.
I have this exact problem. Wasted like 6 DVDs and have opened a case with Cyberlink for help, but as they charge you to support a product you have just bought from them, by phone, I've been struggling back and forth via e-mail for about 2 weeks with no luck, so far. I hope they realize that this is a main functionality of their product and it should work or they should provide good support. I will also try what's suggested here, but I'm wondering how it will affect program performance. Should we just leave that box unchecked permanently? What does it do? I have a similar build as you and running Windows 7. I'm very disappointed with Cyberlink's "support" so far.
