I carried out more checks, this problem does not occur on Windows Media Player.

In Power DVD Settings, if I enable Hardware Acceleration and turn off True Theater HD the problem does not occur. So I'll leave it set that way. Sorry to have troubled you.

I am using PowerDVD 10 Standard on Windows 7 64 bit. I have recently encountered quite frequent pixellation when playing DVDs. I have all the latest updates installed. The one that is mentioned above as a cure for this problem ( 3322 ) does not seem to apply to the standard version. Is it worth uninstalling the latest patch as this may have caused the problem. I have used PowerDVD since version 4 and have never experienced this problem before. Please help.
