Im getting frustrating with PD8.
Crashes
out of sync videos
for small clips its ok but 2hr long AVCD its a nightmare.
After 1 week of edit i lost all my job due to out of sync problem.
One of my clips turn black with 0,0,0 with no reason.

Visit this link, Donwload BD Advisor and test your PC and see if hardware is the cause of your problems

Adriano -

It would seriously be worth posting your PC specifications here http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/45/8445.page - with that information, contributors can offer better guidance.

Working with HD clips is intensive! Intensive editing requires a serious machine. Right now, we don't know whether you're working on an appropriately kitted PC or not.

There are many forum members who'd be able to give you advice on the information from your Diagnostic report. Instructions are here http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/7958.page

Cheers - Tony

Hi again -

I can't see an obvious issue with your system, but one of the tech type members might. It appears to meet requirements.

What is the format/profile of the source clips? What's on your timeline?

One way of avoiding system issues is to produce smaller sections of the video and combine those into a final project.

Do you do registry scans & cleans regularly? The diego.dll file is CyberLink related.

Hi guys im back with my results.
I did the whole job again with the new patch called 2508 the system runs smooth NO crashes at all. :
The final DVD was almost perfect one clip was freezing on my TV, i check it in another dvd player (my brother) and it freezes there too in the same clip.
So i checked the timeline again, the clip has 1 sec out of sync. (just one clip in 30)
I checked the source folder and i found the problem.
The original clip have 1 sec out of sync too.
How in the hell the camera generates an out of sync AVCHD clip?
I didn't expect that!
Now i must find a software to FIX that.
PD still working great with this new patch.

Adriano,

I found out-of-sync audio in some of my clips, still in the library, as well. I sent a ticket to tech-support, asking for some insight. Read not to contradict and confute, nor to believe and take for granted... but to weigh and consider.
