Crashes during DVD burn

Hey guys, please help. I can produce ACVHD with no problems on my system, but when I go to burn a single layer DVD (my latest project was only 3.9gig) it gets to 24% compete and then the burn process slows down to a crawl. Each time the percent complete goes up 1%, the time remaining goes up several minutes until it finally craps out at about 40%. I've tried it on both of my drives and get the same results. I'm running Vista Home Prem on a core 2 quad Q6600. 4G 1066 ram. Any ideas?
Thanks,
David

I have the same issue, except my project is 7.2g, I have a 8.5g dual layer drive. It gets to 23%, slows down and I get a message that there isn't enough storage space and it crashes. It doesn't the same thing if I just try to burn to folders.

Seems like a similar problem. Any ideas anyone!
