Hey guys,
so i made a comparision with FFMetrics between a Vegas Pro Edit 19 and Cyberlink PowerDirector 365 export with similar settings and PD365 came at 75% from the original quality file while VP19 came at 85% quality.

As the custom profile from the PD365 UI won't allow me to set much in terms of quality i was wondering if it's okay to edit Profile.ini from C:\Users\dani\AppData\Roaming\CyberLink\PowerDirector\21.0\UserConfigure and modify:

<Speed Quality Indicator>6

to something more.. or less?

I would appreciate advice from experienced users with these profile settings, thanks !

You can also alter the GOP but make a copy of your ini first, then have at it. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)
Nvidia GTX 960(4GB)/16GB DDR3/
Canon Vixia HV30/HF-M40/HF-M41/HF-G20/Olympus E-PL5.
Tape capture using 6 VCR, TBC-1000, Elite BVP4+, Sony D8 camcorder with TBC.

Hi,
Unfortunately, I have never seen any formal documentation as to how the parameters available in the production profiles are implemented, so I fear it is a matter of trial and error to get the best for your purposes.

This excellent analysis by Jeff might also be of interest, if you haven't seen it?
