Secondary audio device issue in PD365
[Post New]
Just doesn't surprise me anymore with the issues that come up with this program. The latest one...whenever I connect a secondary audio device (eg a USB DAC) to my laptop. PD365 still insists on outputting to my laptop speakers or even NOT AT ALL, this is no matter if I have it set as default or not and whenever I try to disable the Realtek HD audio which is responsible for this output..it doesn't want to preview any video clips at all (preview screen sits blanked out). Did the people who wrote this program and charge us money for it ever realize that you need AUDIO in order to be able to edit?

What I have seen in the past is, that audio-stuff from the windows store (which windows do you use?) did interfere with the drivers, so I had to go back to original drivers... This was particularly true for Realtek. However, this worked system wide, not only PD.
I currently dont have that kind of behavior on my system with PD. Plugged earphones, bluetooth headphones, change of audio driver it all works for me. Do you have more details for us to work with?
I guess that you have notified technical support about this?

In addition, we can only add: CL needs to improve the core features of the program vs constantly adding all the rimram that nobody uses....
