As soon as i put a DVD or Blu-Ray in my player/burner PowerDVD21 ojust automatically powers up and starts playing it without asking me or anything. How do I change this to take no action? I have looked at all the settings and I can't find it.

You did not say which version of Windows that you are using. This FAQ might help: https://www.cyberlink.com/support/faq-content.do?id=17624 .

Windows 10 Home; and no, while I appreciate the help, that link didn't help me. I appreciate the effort though.

I do recall making all those autoplay settings in the earlier versions of Windows. For Win 10, try this: Go to settings. Search for Autoplay and turn it off.

I found out how to do it. Open control panel. Type DVD in the search control panel box. It will bring up a list of various media and you can change the setting for all or each individually to do whatever you want in terms of playing it down to taking no action. Thanks for your help guys. My problem is solved.
