Greetings,

I clicked on a .vob file, and CyberLInk opened to play it. I got a message saying "CyberLink Power Media Player 14 has been detected in your system. Please uninstall first. Do you want to uninstall CyberLink Power Media".

  1. Has CyberLink Power Media Player been discontinued?

  2. Will I lose any features by moving to PowerDVD?

  3. How does PowerDVD 14 compare to PowerDVD 21 Essential?

Thanks,
Shane. Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit

1. Not to my knowledge.

2. I don’t know. The PowerDvd 21 Essential is a trial version for you to use and compare with the premium features for 2 weeks for you to decide whether you want to buy it.

3. The new versions have more new features. Read about it the Product/Comparison/Learning/Specs and Award page to help you decide during your trial period.

I successfully upgraded to Power Media Player 14.0.6.8827.

Clicking on ? (Help) opens a blank Internet Explorer page.
