Toggle between clip and video preview.

In PD18 there was a button in the preview window to toggle clip or entire video preview. Now it's page down, but seems like it reverts right back to clip. Is there somewhere to set this preference?

Yes, they changed that behavior and removed the toggle button. In pref > Editing you can set "Switch to movie mode automatically during playback". Otherwise, it's up the to the user with Page Up and Page Down keys to toggle.

I had it set as you describe but it still reverts to clip mode on its own. Wish they hadn't "fixed" it.

Yep, couldn't agree more. You'll see a fairly lengthy thread of views here: https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/83932.page when the change was first released. Not a fan favorite, after initial release they made a slight tweak but really missed user intent in my view. I guess one simply has to learn to edit within the confines of what's there.
