Hi
I would like to add grid lines (ideally with a colour) to a photograph, so that I can practise drawing. I just couldn't work out how to do it. So any help would be appreciated, thanks.

There are probably several ways to do that. The first one I thought of is to use the grid in the Crop tool and then take a screenshot since the grid isn't meant to show up on the finished image:

optodata has provided an easy to achieve solution, which should work for your purposes.

Another option would be to import a transparent overlay grid into the Layers module under the Edit tab.



The grid overlays attached (zipped file) may suit your needs. They're all 6000x4000px, in a variaety of colours.
